Conditions

  • Your phone is on silent
  • You will not be interrupted for 10 minutes
  • You are not under emotional distress or intoxication

Task Overview

This is a 10-minute task.

It requires no imagination and no belief.

The task consists of:

  • Posture
  • Breathing
  • Attention holding

Instructions

Step 1 — Posture (1 minute)

Sit upright.

Feet flat on the ground.

Spine neutral.

Hands resting naturally.

Do not correct posture further once set.

Step 2 — Breath (2 minutes)

Breathe through the nose.

Slow and even.

Do not regulate depth.

Only maintain continuity.

If breathing changes — observe, do not interfere.

Step 3 — Attention Lock (5 minutes)

Bring attention to the center of the chest.

Do not visualize.

Do not imagine light, energy, or symbols.

Hold attention there.

When attention drifts:

  • Notice the drift
  • Return attention
  • Do not react emotionally

Count returns silently.

Do not judge the number.

Step 4 — Exit (2 minutes)

Release attention.

Remain seated.

Observe:

  • Body
  • Breath
  • Mental state

Do not analyze.

Do not interpret.

Completion

If you completed the task without interruption, proceed.

If you interrupted the task, stop.

Return another day.

Reflection

Answer internally:

  • Was attention stable or scattered?
  • Did discomfort appear?
  • Was there resistance to stillness?

Do not write conclusions.

Simply register the observations.

What This Task Does

This task does not:

  • Activate archetypes
  • Integrate the shadow
  • Produce altered states

It does:

  • Establish baseline
  • Expose instability
  • Introduce structure
